Claudia Creasy

WILSON - Claudia Lucas Creasy, 84, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Mrs. Creasy was born in Wilson County to the late Silas R. and Claudia Cheek Lucas. She was also preceded in death by a twin sister, Sallie Hurley (Frederick). She was educated at Atlantic Christian College (now Barton) and Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. In Richmond, she worked at the college and later at Atlantic Coastline Hospital in Rocky Mount. As a science teacher, she taught at Rocky Mount and Jacksonville (FL) public schools and at Atlantic Christian College. Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, First United Methodist Church, with a time of visiting and sharing to follow. Interment later at Maplewood Cemetery. Surviving is her husband, James V. Creasy: sister, Nancy Bryant of Clemson, SC: nieces, Sarah H. Belk of Charlotte, Claudia H. Daniels of Victoria, VA: Nancy B. Davis of Clemson, SC, Margaret B. Bost of Seneca, SC and Pam C. Stamper of Cary: nephew, Dwight Costabile of Los Angeles, CA: grand nieces, Mary Belk Kolster, Laura E. Belk, Erin and Ashley Bost, Katherine and Christian Stamper: grand nephews, Frederick L.
