WILSON - Clara McDonald Owens, 87, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Archie Owens and son, Tony Owens. Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, Evergreen Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Rusty Russell. Mrs. Owens is survived by her son, Luky Owens (Patti) of Elm City; grandchildren, Becky Gurgone (Greg) of Wilson, Amanda Thompson (Beaux) of Wilson and Ian Owens (Elizabeth) of Greenville; great-grandson, Chase Gurgone; sisters, Barbara Ferrell of Lucama and Lois Tipton of Wilson. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, N, Friday, 7-8:30 PM.
