WILSON - Christine Murray Hites, 85, passed away October 25, 2016.
A celebration of Christine's life will be Friday, 11:00 AM at West Nash United Methodist Church, followed by a fellowship luncheon. Inurnment services will be held at 12:00 at the Eastern Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery, Goldsboro, on Monday, October. 31.
Christine is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, CMSgt (Ret) Ralph William (Bill) Hites of Wilson; three daughters, Sandra Lewis of Lubbock, TX, Harriett (Ray) Podraza of Memphis, TN, and Kathy Lindsey of Wilson; two brothers Jimmy (Linda) Murray of Wilson and Jerry Murray of Fremont; two sisters, Shirley Kelly of Wilson and Linda (Thomas) Proctor of Fremont; four grandchildren, Pam Podraza, Brandon Robinson, Shane Robinson and Christie Schotten; and nine great-grandchildren, Lauren Podraza, Hannah and Lauren Schotten, Max and Ethan Robinson, and Jordan, Katie, Jack, and Mackenzie Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lillian Murray and her brothers, Sherwood, Douglas (Bo), Ray, and Joey Murray.
