Cathy Cook

Cathy Walston Cook, 61, of Lucama, died Monday, December 12, 2022.

Funeral, Friday, 2:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by burial at Aycock Family Cemetery in Lucama.  The visitation will be Thursday, 6:30-8:30 PM at Wilson Memorial Service.

Cathy was preceded in death by her son, Clarence David “Casey” Cook III in September 2021; sister, Pamela Amerson; parents, Barney and Patricia Greene Walston.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, David Cook, Jr.; daughter, Christina Coleman (Rodney) of Middlesex; granddaughters, Abbigail Lynn Cook and Adriana Skye Cook; sister, Sharon Mikus of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Gethsemane Independent Baptist Church, PO Box 785, Elm City, NC 27822.
