WILSON - Bruno J. Zampieri, 85, died August 29, 2008, in Ebensburg, PA. He had retired to Wilson with his wife of 49 years, the former Mary Risko, a few years ago. Mary died in July, 2007, and he returned to Ebensburg to be with his sister and friends he had not seen in recent years. He was born June 24, 1923, in Aumetz, France, to the late Frank and Assunta Zampieri. A sister, Edda, and brother, Baldo, preceded him. Bruno attended Colver Public &: Ebensburg-Cambria schools in Pennsylvania and went on to graduate from Point Park College in Pittsburgh. During World War II, he was a Navy Sea Bee. Writing adver-tising copy was his field of interest and he retired from West Penn Power in Greensburg, PA. He enjoyed golf and labeled himself an amateur artist. Mass, Wednesday, 10 AM, St Therese Catholic Church. Friends and relatives will assemble and visit at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, beginning at 9 AM and proceed to St Therese for the Mass. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. He was a member of the Sons of Italy. Surviving is a sister, Doris Zampieri Gatto of Ebensburg, PA: nieces, Denise Fillingham of AZ, Jeanne Menie &: Mary Ritchey of Ebensburg, PA, Patricia Gatto of Baltimore, MD and Renee Stickler of Quarryville, PA: sisters-in-law, Betty Hinson (Carl), Anna Harris (Dal), Judy Barnes (Tommy), brothers-in-law, Joseph Risko (Alice) and Mike Risko, all of Wilson.
