WILSON - Brownie Johnson Bruton, 87, died June 14, 2008. She was the widow of John B. Bruton, Jr, and a native of the Faro community in Wayne County. Funeral, Monday, 11 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section 1. Surviving is a daughter, Caroline B. Poythress (Royce) of Wilson: granddaughter, Janet P. Beaver (Chad) of Wilson: great-granddaughter, Caroline Bruton Beaver: brother, Ralph E. Johnson of New York City. The family will be at the Poythress home.
