Brenda Davis

WILSON - Brenda Guy Davis, 65, died Monday, April 28, 2014.

Funeral, Thursday, 11 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, followed by a time of visiting and sharing.

Brenda was a medical transcriptionist for over 30 years. She lived in the family home place in Kenly as long as she was able to care for it. The family gathered here for holiday events. On these occasions she served as both cook and hostess. The home and premises were maintained by her until health problems prevented her from continuing this activity. A graduate of North Johnston High School Class of 1966, Brenda enjoyed family, cooking, home decorating, and had great love for animals. Brenda was the youngest of four sisters, daughters of the late Guy and Mina Gray Davis. Brenda was loved more than she knew and we look forward to being together again when we can celebrate with our Savior in Heaven.

Surviving are her sisters, Janet Gray Pittman (Pete) of Wilson, Nelda Bardin (Clayton) of Wilson and Sally Bierce (Buddy) of Clayton; five nieces and nephews; true friend, Donnie Summerlin; aunt, Martha Clyde Davis; uncles, John Ed Davis, Paul Boyette, and George Boyette; and her dog "Elmo".
