Bobby Bass

Bobby Lewis Bass, 66, of Wilson, died Sunday, February 23, 2025.

Funeral, Friday, 11:00 AM, Wilson Memorial Service. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. The visitation will be at Wilson Memorial Service Thursday, 6:00-8:00 PM, and other times at the home.

Bobby was born in Wilson County in 1958 to Junior and Yvonne Tedder Bass. 

He loved watching UNC Tarheels basketball with his grandsons, who were the apple of his eye. Bobby was an inspiration and a role model for many young men through his involvement as assistant scout master with Boy Scout Troop 332 of Elm City. He worked with a great group of co-workers at Electric Supply Company in Wilson. Bobby also inspired his nieces, nephews, and younger sister-in-law to be their best and do good. 

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lewis Bass of Wilson; son, Roger Bass (Ashley) of Elm City; grandsons, Noah, Charlie, and Brayden; brothers, Russ Bass (Sherry) of Wilson and David Bass (Barbara) of Rocky Mount; sister, Pat Register (Gene) of Wilson; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
