WILSON - Robert "Bob" Bartera, 78, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Saturday, 5-6 PM, for a time of visiting and sharing. Final rites will be accorded later in Maryland.
Bob worked 25 years as a communications expert for the U. S. Government. In retirement, he worked as a security consultant and trainer before moving to the Landing three years ago. He enjoyed membership in the Wilson Kiwanis Club.
Surviving are sisters, Dorothy Chipman of Wilson and Carol Bowen of Upton, MA; brother, Ralph Bartera of La Canda, CA; eleven nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.
