LUCAMA - William Silas Bass, Jr., 74, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016.
Funeral, Friday, 11:00 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section G, with Masonic Rites.
Billy graduated from Fike High School in the first graduating class and then graduated from Atlantic Christian College. He was a prominent farmer in the Lucama area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Sarah Askew Bass.
Billy is survived by his wife, Jane Honeycutt Bass; sons, Silas Bass, III (Victoria) of Wake Forest, Chris A. Bass (Julia) of Lucama; grandchildren, Tyson, Ryan, Sarah and Jacob Bass and sister, Jean Joyner of Wilson.
The family will receive family and friends, Thursday, 7 - 8:30, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Dr, Wilson.
