We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Wilson Memorial Service
Beverly Ann Caldwell Schrock, 92, of Hillsborough, formerly of Wilson, joined her heavenly family on Thursday, January 13th, 2022 after a brief illness.
A visitation celebrating her life will be at Wilson Memorial Service on Saturday, March 19, 1:00 - 2:30, followed by a graveside service in Evergreen Memorial Park at 2:45.
Beverly was born on September 27th, 1929 to the late Lola Myrtle Mobley and Glancy Russell Caldwell.
She always said she had a blessed life. Beverly grew up on a farm, part of a large family learning from the beginning all about hard work. She worked many jobs over her lifetime, after going to college in Canada and returning to Indiana. Living and working in the LaGrange and Goshen area where she had lived most of her life. In 1967 her and her family made their move to North Carolina for her husband’s job. Still, they would return to their beloved Indiana yearly to see their families. She was all about her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her other passion was sewing and she was a master. She sewed clothes from barbie doll size to full size wedding dresses. She made quilts, pillows and stuffed animals. If it could be sewn she could make it. Nothing made her happier than to sew something for someone and to see them wear it or a child play with the stuffed toy. She was always making things for the little ones. Her second passion was painting she liked to paint when it was quiet and she could just relax. She painted beautiful oil and acrylic paintings. Her apple pie was priceless and her talents were endless. Beverly will be missed by her family and her many friends.
She is survived by her daughters Joyce Hoover (Jerome) of Anderson, SC, Julie Crawley (Bill) of Hillsborough, NC and stepson, Scott Schrock of Elkhart, IN; grandchildren, Andi Webber (Bob) of Mebane, NC, Amanda Williams (Mike) of Decatur, GA, Aaron Hoover (Erin) of Golden, CO, Bill Crawley Jr. (Stephanie), and Jennie Ogden (Greg) of Hillsborough, NC and Christa Pulley-Fitchett of Middlesex, NC; step-grandchildren, Matthew Schrock, Rachel Schrock, Charles Schrock (Brittany), Valerie Schrock, Adam Schrock all of Elkhart, IN; 18 great-great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild from Colorado, Georgia, Indiana and North & South Carolina; sisters, Virginia Bond, of LaGrange, IN, Shirley (Larry) Strayer of LaGrange, IN, Betsy (Calvin) Miller of LaGrange, IN, Barbara Penick of Sturgis, MI, Judy Schrock of Spokane Valley, WA.
