Betty Edmundson

WILSON - Betty Edmundson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2011.
Betty was a faithful member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church where she served in the Chancel Choir and as chairman of visitation. She was affectionately known by everyone who knew her as "Mama Bee."
A memorial service will be held for Betty at the Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 1100 Forest Hills Road, Wilson, at 11AM, Saturday, August 20. The visitation will be at the church one hour before the funeral. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Reverend Blaine Hughes will officiate.
Betty was the wife of J. Eddie Edmundson of Wilson, and the mother of Jerry Dalton and wife, Betty Jo, of Clayton, Jacque Hughes and husband, Blaine and Jimmy Edmundson and wife, Kim, all of Wilson; six grandchildren, Jaree Solomon and husband, Charlie, Joseph Dalton and wife, Kristin, Amory O'Neal and husband, Brian and Ashley Cayton Jones, Joshua and Caleb Edmundson; seven great grandchildren and a brother, Don Callahan of Raleigh.
Flowers are welcomed or acknowledgements may be designated to the building fund of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church.
