ELM CITY - Bessie Warbritton, 84, died Thursday, March 12, 2009. Mrs. Warbritton was the widow of Blonnie Warbritton and a daughter of the late Oscar Paul and Mary Ida Woodlief Farmer of Wilson county. She was preceded in death by sisters, Emma Newsome, Alice Turner, Katie Cole, Mattie Lewis and Mary Lee Price: brothers, William, Sammy, Jimmy, Paul and Oscar Farmer, Jr.: a special sister-in-law, Mabel Smith. Funeral, Sunday, 2 PM, Cedar Grove Cemetery. Surviving are daughters, Linda Lowe of the home and Jackie Smith (Franklin) of Raleigh: grandsons, Frank Smith (Rachel) and Daniel Smith of Raleigh, Chris Lowe of St. Augustine, FL: five great-grandchildren: sister, Annie Grey Jones Fuller of Tarboro. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, Saturday, 6 - 7:30 PM. of Raleigh; grandsons, Frank Smith
