Barbara Bell (née Fabian), of Wilson, passed away peacefully on August 7th, 2020.

A service to celebrate her life will be Friday, August 14, 10 AM, in the shady grove of trees at Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting.  Please bring your own lawn chair and dress casual/weather appropriate.  Masks are encouraged.

She is survived by her husband John (Ian), daughters Janice (husband, Russell Leonard) and Elaine (husband, Elias Lopez); son, Colin and granddaughter, Ariana Lopez.

Barbara was born in New Lanark, Scotland.  Barbara and Ian raised their family in Scotland, Canada, and the USA. Barbara trained at Glasgow College of Domestic Science and worked in the industry for many years. She loved to entertain and cook for a crowd. A talented cook, baker, gardener, seamstress, knitter, golfer and curler, Barbara always dedicated herself with great success to the things she tried.  She volunteered as a member of the Wilson Rose Garden “Deadhead Society” for five years. She loved to dance with Ian and always had a song in her heart and a tune to whistle. She is truly missed.
