WILSON -Axie Galloway Eason, 94, of Wilson, died Monday, February 2, 2015.
Funeral, Saturday, 11 AM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by visitation. Interment, Walstonburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Eason was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Smith Eason who died in 1999 and parents, Samuel Luther and Ida Victoria Windham Galloway and brothers, Paul, Clifton and Irvin Galloway and sister, Lillian Weese.
She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Walker (Henry) of Farmville, Carolyn Barrett (C.D.) of Elm City, Linda Moore (James) of Newport News, VA; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Agnes Galloway Horton of Snow Hill; sisters-in-law, Delma Galloway and Shirley Galloway both of Wilson and Peggy Eason Whitehurst of Chesapeake, VA.
