WILSON - Atha Wright Williams, 72, died Friday, August 13, 2010. Funeral, Monday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, followed by interment in Evergreen Memorial Park Atha's death brings a celebration of life with many good memories for many people. His entry into heaven began just after sunrise which was his special time. Sunrise on the Pamlico River was time for him to begin fishing and develop his stories which he would gladly share with anyone including those he met through his work as a plumber and at Bridgestone Tire and Bible Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife, Sylvia Vick Williams; daughters, Kim Williams of the home and Dennis Toole of Kenly, her special friend and Atha's adopted son-in-law, and another daughter, Teresa Gardner and her husband, Troy, of Zebulon; sisters, Christine Garner of Wilson, Nora Graham of Farmville, Cleo Tippett of New Bern. The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Sunday, 5 - 7 PM. Flowers will be accepted and memorials are suggested to Bible Baptist Church Building Fund, 2833 Tilghman Rd, N, Wilson, NC 27896.
