WILSON - Anne Morris Glover, 83, died Friday, October 26, 2007. Affectionately known to all as "Granny Anne", she was born July 28, 1924, to the late George Hervey and Margaret Mitchell Morris of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 1968. She graduated from East Carolina Teachers College (now ECU) and taught for 26 years at Ralph L. Fike and Rock Ridge schools. Her church was First United Methodist where she kept children's church and served on the chancel committee. Volunteer service was enjoyed in the gift shop at Wilson Medical Center. Funeral, Monday, 11 AM, Maplewood Cemetery, Section 1, with visiting to follow. Surviving is a daughter, Anne Glover Briley, and husband Ronnie, of Greenville: son, Harold David Glover, and wife Beth, of Wilson and Pine Knoll Shores: grandchildren, David, Will and Brian Glover and Mitchell and Elizabeth Briley: four great-grandchildren. The family will be at 6121 Radio Tower Road, Wilson, on Sunday after 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested memorial remembrances be directed to the charity of one's choice. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to her dear friends as well as the staff at The Fountains at The Albemarle in Tarboro. and taught for 26 years at Ralph L. Fike and Rock Ridge schools.
