Anderson Ferrell

WILSON - Anderson Ferrell, 87, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012.
Funeral, Thursday, 2 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, followed by a time of visiting. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, beside his wife of 64 years, Emily Gray Benton Ferrell, who died August, 2011.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, William Anderson and Lela Capps Ferrell; brothers, George and Clifton Ferrell and sisters, Ruby Holland, Ethel Flowers and Darlene Ferrell.
Mr. Ferrell was a Navy veteran from World War II and had retired from Thurston Motor Lines. In his retirement he enjoyed transporting vehicles for Lee Motor Company, Kenly Ford and J.C. Harris Cadillac and spending time with the many friends he made in each dealership.
Surviving is his daughter, Vivian Baker (Jerry) of Charlotte; sons, Ranny Ferrell (Janet) of Macclesfield and Danny Ferrell of Bailey; granddaughter, Teasie Starling (Randy) of Garner; five step-grandchildren, four great-grand-children; nine step great-grandchildren; sisters, Gerthia McDonald of Princeton and Peggy Outland (Gene) of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Barbara Ferrell of Lucama; brother-in-law, Cecil Holland of Pikeville; several nieces, nephews, cousins including a special cousin, Cecil Lane of Pikeville; special friends, Judy Lane and Bob White.
