BOILING SPRINGS - Amy Harris Denny, 86, formerly of Wilson, died Thursday, January 14, 2010.
Funeral, Tuesday, 11 AM, First United Methodist Church. Inurnment, Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Denny had served earlier in the activities of the Girl Scouts, Garden Club, Arts Council, the women and children's work of the church and was a former member of the board of the Baddour Center, Senatobia, MS.
Surviving is her husband, Robert "Bob" L. Denny; daughter, Gayle Haley (Vince) with whom her parents lived in recent months; Robert "Rob" Denny, II (Rita) of Vilnius, Lithuania; grandchildren, Rebecca Meacham (Mark) of Burlington and Kendra Denny of Takoma Park, MD; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Faith Meacham; sister, Helen Pool (Marion) of Wilson.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Monday, 6 - 7 PM.
