Alice Orr

Alice Proctor Orr, 79, of Wilson, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Her Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 6th, at 11:00 AM in Evergreen Memorial Park. Her visitation will be held at Wilson Memorial Service, Friday, March 5th, 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Orr was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Apart from God, her family was her life. She enjoyed spoiling her family with their favorite meals, and cherished the love, laughter, and fellowship. She was an active member of Grace Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. Mrs. Orr was a kind, caring, and compassionate nurse spanning a career of 42 years. She was a natural care giver, and utilized her special talents to help others. She was an avid gardener, and appreciated the beauty of nature. She enthusiastically embraced the challenges of growing roses. At the Wilson Rose Garden, she maintained a beautiful section of flowers.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Orr Bass of Wilson; son, David Orr (Jennifer) of Morehead City; grandchildren, Ashley Bass Sullivan (Ben), Justin Bass, Caleb Orr, Jackson Orr, great-grandchildren, Grayson Bass, Morgan Bass, Trent Sullivan and Ava Sullivan; sister, Diane Proctor Hyman (Larry) of North Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Joe Proctor, Jr. (Susan) of Battleboro; faithful canine companion, Dollie.
