Agnes Green

Agnes Ann Lancaster Green, 85, of the Dunns Crossroads Community, Elm City, died Thursday, October 12, 2023, in her home.

The visitation will be Sunday, 2:00-3:00 PM, at Wilson Memorial Service, followed by her funeral at 3:00 PM.  Interment, Maplewood Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Green; daughters, Wanda Smith of Pikeville, Sandra Grady (Ricky) and Victoria Laviolette of Goldsboro; sons, Donnie Davis (Linda) of Pikeville and Billy Davis (Rita) of Wilson; grandchildren, Dennis, Jason, Tyler and Nicholas Davis, Tina Rodrigues, Kelly Craig, Leeann Myers, Heather Hood, Brian Forbis and Ricky Grady; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Dolly Mozingo of Elm City; brother, Add Lancaster (Reba) of Pikeville.

Preceding her in death was her son, Jimmy Wrinkle; grandson, Ricky Lee Davis; her parents, Jim and Hester Hill Lancaster of Wayne County; sister, Ruby Hicks; brothers, Bobby, Jimmy, and Eugene Lancaster.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Wanda Smith (daughter) who was our mom’s caretaker.  Mom always called Wanda her “angel on earth”, and we are so thankful for her.  The family would also like to tell Jimmie how grateful we are for him. He took care of our mom better than we could have asked.

A special thank you is extended to Dr. Lerro, Dr. Metz, and the staff of the Wilson Wound Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mount Zion United Methodist Church, H.O.P.E. Food Pantry, 5326 London Church Rd, Elm City, NC 27822.
