WILSON - Adelle Winstead Boyd, 93, died January 7, 2012.
Funeral, Tuesday, 2 PM, First Baptist Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing with her family.
She was born on September 12, 1918, in Rocky Mount, to Bradford Harris and Leigh Masengale Winstead. Her husband, Luther Holton Boyd, died in 1997 after 56 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Bradford Winstead.
Surviving is her daughter, Sherron Moore (Dan) of Manteo; step-grandson, Robert Moore of Harrells; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Taylor of Hertford and Frances Daughtery of Jacksonville, FL.
