ELM CITY – Tommie Bass, 83, died Friday, October 8, 2021.
Funeral, Wednesday, 7:00 PM, Wilson Memorial Service, Wilson, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. The burial will be for and at the convenience of the family.
He owned and operated Tommie Bass Tile Company and had served the area for many years.
Surviving is his wife, Rosemond Proctor Bass; daughters, Becky Mundy (Mark) of Elm City and Theresa Kidd (Larry) of Statesville; son, Tommie Bass (friend, Sherrie) of Wilson; grandchildren Crystal Evans (Jamie) and Cheyenne Mundy; step-grandchildren, Cheyenne Kidd and Danielle Burcham; great-grandchild, Brianna Langley; sister, Rose Smith of FL; brother, Harold Bass of Elm City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Welch Stan and Hazel Batchelor Bass and daughter-in-law, Peggy Wright Bass.
