Audrey Pridgen

Audrey Meadows Pridgen, 86, died Friday, March 12, 2021, in Raleigh.

Funeral, Wednesday, March 17, 2:00 PM, Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Surviving is her sister, Joyce Wells (Pete) of Wilson; niece, Suzanne H. Phillips (David); nephew, Glen Wells; great-niece, Shannon Phillips; great-nephew, Matthew Wells; great-great-nephew, Jacob Huffman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Pridgen in 2015; parents, Willie James and Eula Mae Pace Meadows; sister, Jean Boykin.

She left Wilson for Washington at an early age to work for the CIA.  Later, she moved over to the FBI and the Department of Justice where she retired before returning to Wilson County.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 3184, Wilson, NC 27895.
