Allan Owens

FREMONT – Allan Emory Owens, 61, died Thursday, March 25, 2021.

Funeral, Monday, 6:00 PM, Faro Chapel Church, followed a time of visiting and sharing.  MASK and SOCIAL  DISTANCING are required.

Surviving are his daughters, Tracy Pittman (Anthony) of Pikeville, Tia Wilson (Mark) of Chesapeake, VA, and Trina Gant (Casey) of Zebulon; five grandchildren; mother, Louise Owens of Fremont; brother, Mark Owens of Fremont; nephew, James Owens.

Allan loved to fish and was a star pitcher while playing baseball at Charles B. Aycock High School.  His interest in the sport continued for the rest of his life in numerous capacities. Memorial Contributions are suggested to CBA High School Baseball, 5460 US Hwy 117 N, Pikeville, NC 27863.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jasper “Buddy” Owens.
